Governor Sarah Palin...So Far, So Good

First off, those who click the video, feel free to fast forward a few minutes through the applause. That being said, these moments you may click over show great promise for the Republican party, and our country. Gov. Palin has more executive experience than any of the other candidates in this election, including her running mate Sen. McCain. Now, I am not saying that I am going to put a McCain/Palin sticker on my car or anything, but she is the best choice he could have made for uniting the party. Perhaps, I can make a sticker that simply says "Palin for VP." Hopefully now more people like myself will take an active role in this race, or at least get a little more excited about it.

The attacks that have been made on her thus far only highlight the bitterness of the opposing side. It is clear that Democrats are intimidated by this choice of Sen. McCain's. Not only does she have more of the kind of experience we need in an executive seat, but Gov. Palin also supports life, independence, this country and its citizens and has proven this in her personal life as well as her public life. She not only seems to be a good leader, but also a good woman. And we shall see if that is held against her any more in the future.

My last observation today (since I am sure I will write more about the vice-presidential nominee in the future) is simply to state how wonderful it is that she is being compared more with Barrack Obama than Joe Biden. I think that she will continue to be the "star" of this election, overpowering all others on the stage and behind the curtain.

Though I am not a staunch McCain supporter, I do greatly appreciate this decision he has made. I hope that he can continue in this direction. Keep this momentum going!

My Apologies

I just want to apologize to any readers who might be rubbed the wrong way about any ads or video content that is found on this site that is less than conservative. The filters for this blog are a little wider (and therefore let the bad in with the good) in the hopes that a few from the left slip over to observe our views and either discuss these views with us, or are converted by them.

One example of the flaws of this "wide filter" would be that I would never endorse Barack Obama, MoveOn.org, or encourage anyone to request a bumper sticker from them. Since I like to give you readers access to YouTube content from our site, I am also exposing you to the ads from left leaning enterprises, which I regret.

Read at your own risk, and please remember the bigger picture.

20 Years of Anti-American Comradery: Reverand Wright and Barack Obama

Is there anyone better to run our beloved country than someone who has such close ties to someone who hates it so much? Well, of course this doesn't make any sense! If you honestly disagree with a community leader such as priest, preacher or rabbi, you find another parish. That is what any self-respecting human would do....let alone one who also happens to be a patriotic, moral citizen. But this is not what we find in Barack Obama. In this self-proclaimed Christian, drug-dabbling, devoted father and public servant we find excrement that has seen very little of the world, and understands even less of the subjects he wishes to lead.

Should we really force a false and ignorant leader down the throats of Americans just because his race differs from those who he wishes to succeed? No, of course not. He has thought..."I'm paler than Jesse Jackson, so maybe my attempt will yield greater success!" This thought has been proven true. He has made it farther than Jackson, but at least Rev. Jackson and Rev. Sharpton before Obama have embraced their own anti-Americanism as theirs. Whereas Obama has followed, and held close, a church and community leader who spouts and stands by ideas that America brought on the attacks of 9/11. He has not denounced him, he barely even separated his beliefs from his pastor's.

Fellow Americans, please tell me that you are not going to let this just pass by. Please tell me that you are smart enough and strong enough to shut this thinking down. Don't reward it because you are afraid of reversed-racist remarks.

What the 2008 Election Holds

The 2008 Presidential election certainly does not hold much for people such as myself. I think conservative, I vote conservative. Now what do I do? No candidate has my values...shall I throw my vote away on someone who cannot possibly win? Or should I just compromise my principles and vote for someone who agrees with me on only one or two major issues?

Either way, I am in a moral dilemma which I will never be able to scrub myself clean of. In the end who cares, other than my close relations, if I put my foot down and just don't vote? I firmly believe that voting is a serious responsibility that every true citizen should take part in. It would take a tremendous amount of abstaining voters for our frustration to be heard. Once again, we want someone who best promotes our values...where is this person?
